Ohio Men's Basketball Adds AJ Brown

AJ Brown, a 6'4 4 Star wing from Orlando, Fla. signs with the Bobcats as a freshman for the 2022-2023 Season. Brown is ranked as the #19 SG in the country according to ESPN and is the Bobcats highest ever signed recruit since D.J. Cooper in 2009. Brown also had offers from Texas A&M, Penn State, and Clemson.

Brown has spent his last 3 years at Orlando Christian Prep where he has won two 2A Florida High School Athletic Association State Championships. As a junior, Brown averaged 15 PPG and four RPG while shooting 50% from the field and 38% from three to help OCP win their second-straight state championship. He competed for E1T1 under Coach Steve Reece in the Nike EYBL Circuit where he helped his team reach the Elite 8 of the 2021 EYBL Peach Jam Finals averaging 10 PPG while shooting 37% from 3. Brown has a 4.2 GPA and is interested in studying Sport Management.

Brown is the son of Ronald and Sheraida Brown… Has one older brother Ronald, one younger sister Siarah, and one younger brother Isaiah.
